چکیده

Abstract The aim of this study was to isolate and characterize the Phosphate solubilizing bacteria from rhizosphere Zea mays L., Jeneponto Regency. This research conducted in several stages; i.e, sampling, medium preparation, sample dilution, isolation, characterization form gram staining, biochemical tests, quantitative tests phosphate solubility. Soil samples were diluted 0.9% NaCl soil containing microbes isolated on Picovskaya medium. Three isolates obtained which could dissolve phosphate, namely J2KN1, J3KR2, J3TG3 isolates. generally round shape with raised elevations, white, slimy, smooth, shiny surface, milky like coccus bacillus, gram-negative. Some had positive motility, indole, voges, methyl red, glucose, sucrose fermentation test. ability showed that J2KN1 highest concentration 51.1 μM, J3KR1 a 45.2 μM 37.6 respectively.

Isolation and characterization of phosphate solubilizing bacteria from Western Indian Himalayan soils

Previous studies confirmed the existence of diversified microbial flora in the rhizosphere of Himalayan Red Kidney Bean (RKB) (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Therefore, fifteen different temperate and subtropical regions of Western Indian Himalaya (WIH) were explored for the isolation of RKB rhizosphere-associated Phosphorus (P) solubilizing bacteria. On the basis of qPCR analysis, three soils, i.e., ...

Isolation and Characterization of Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria from Rhizosphere Soil of Weeds of Khewra Salt Range and Attock

During the present study rhizosphere soil of four halophytic weeds viz., Chrysopogon aucheri, Lactuca dissecta, Solanum surattense and Sonchus arvensis growing in saline soil of Khewra salt range and Solanum surattense growing in arid region of Attock were used for isolating phosphate solubilizing bacteria. The objective of this study was to explore the abilities of phosphate solubilization, pr...

isolation of phosphate solubilizing bacteria from the rhizosphere of faba bean of ethiopia and their abilities on solubilizing insoluble phosphates

native phosphate solubilizing bacteria (psb) were isolated from four areas (ankober, keyt, mehalmeda and molale) of ethiopia to study their effect on releases of soluble phosphorus from insoluble p sources. the highest bacterial number was found at keyt (2.6103 g-1soil) and the least at molale (15 g-1soil). five efficient psb were selected for further study based on their ability in forming a ...

Isolation and Characterization of Phosphate-Solubilizing Bacteria from Mushroom Residues and their Effect on Tomato Plant Growth Promotion.

Phosphorus is a major essential macronutrient for plant growth, and most of the phosphorus in soil remains in insoluble form. Highly efficient phosphate-solubilizing bacteria can be used to increase phosphorus in the plant rhizosphere. In this study, 13 isolates were obtained from waste mushroom residues, which were composed of cotton seed hulls, corn cob, biogas residues, and wood flour. NBRIP...

Isolation and characterization of phenol degrading bacteria from Persian Gulf

Phenol and phenol compounds are environmental pollutants present in industrial wastewaters such as, coal tar, oil refineries and petrochemical plants exist. Phenol removal from industrial effluent is extremely important in protection of environment. Recently phenol biodegradation has been considered. Marine bacteria are the most important phenol biodegrader. In this study, the phenol-degrading ...
